MultiDriveRecorder gained the 5th place in Japanese AppStore navigation category paid ranking.

Automatic recording with shock sensing

The MultiDriveRecorder senses shock by using acceleration sensor on iPhone, and record the video from 1minute before from the time detected a shock to 1minute later (2minutes altogether).

We'll explain settings of this function, and how to record the video.


+ Settings

1. Tap "Setting" on the main menu screen, then the settings screen is displayed.

2. Turn "ON" the setting item "Auto-Recording".

3. Set the Sensor Sensitivity

You can set independently 3 axises of the sensor sensitivity (threshold of acceleration to begin recording).
The direction is based on landscape and vertically-tilted for iPhone.

 Vertical Sensitivity: The vertical shock for iPhone.
 Horizontal Sensitivity: The horizontal shock for iPhone.
 Forward-and-backward Sensitivity: The forward-and-backward shock for iPhone.

The threshold can adjust between 0.5G to 2.0G. The recording will begin automatically, when the sensor detected acceleration over the threshold.
! It's begins to record by little shake unexpectedly, if a threshold is adjusted too low !

+ How to Record Video

1. Set iPhone on your car dashboard.
2. Tap "Record" on the main menu screen, then the settings screen is displayed.

3. If the sensor detected an acceleration more than the sensor sensitivity setting, then it's begin recording.
The video from 1minute before to 1minute after around the shock will be saved from the video which records the view from your cockpit all times.

4. The recording stops automatically 1minutes after the shock.
! You can stop recording manually !
! The automatic recording function does not finish at this time. You can record next shock !

5. Tap "MENU" button to back to the main menu.
